My Transformative Journey at SunExpress 🛫

It's hard to believe it is almost a year since I joined SunExpress Family. Time has flown by, and as I reflect on this journey, I'm thrilled to share my experiences, challenges, and personal growth during this period.

Starting with the FLY Talent Program 

From day one, I was welcomed into the SunExpress family through the FLY Talent Program. This unique initiative allowed me to explore my potential. I knew I was embarking on a different path rather than my background as an Aerospace Engineer in IT Team, yet later I realized that this experience is filled with exciting opportunities and unforeseen challenges.

Embracing a Welcoming Company Culture 

One of the first things I noticed at SunExpress is the incredibly welcoming and friendly culture. The sense of belonging was palpable, and it made the transition into this new environment so much smoother. It was evident that everyone was willing to support each other's growth and development.

Also, I have to say that I was so lucky to work with Digitalization Team where I met with my friends Ozge Sena Deveci, Oguz Harmandar,İrem GÜNER rather than just faces in office. Their sincereness and helpful attitudes increase my motivation and made me realize that having great teammates is one of the best things I can have in the beginning of my career.

Feeding My Knowledge Base

One of the standout features of my journey here has been the wealth of knowledge shared within the organization. SunExpress has been instrumental in helping me expand my skill set. On one hand I have been learning the elements of airline industry, on the other hand, I’ve had the privilege of learning new tools and technologies like RPA (Robotic Process Automation).

Continuous Development Through Trainings 

I have been fortunate to benefit from a series of training sessions provided by the Talent team. The variety of these sessions was simply amazing. One day we had dived deep into the elements of Boeing 737, the other day we practiced listening to ourselves to unlock our inner potential. It may take a little long to list all the sessions that we had so I highly recommend you follow our colleagues from Talent Management and Employer Branding teams.
