SunnyPeople Spotlight: Meet Sara, Our Cabin Chief and Continuous Learner

Our SunnyPeople series continues to shine a light on the talented individuals who define the SunExpress spirit. Today, we are excited to introduce Sara, a Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM) whose energy and commitment to growth are truly infectious.

I first met Sara a few years ago when she volunteered to join our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Since then, every encounter at the office has been a reminder of the positivity she brings to our work environment.

A Journey of Ambition and Growth

Born in 1993, Sara’s background is as diverse as her professional experience. With a solid academic foundation in International Trade and Finance from Pamukkale University (where she is currently completing her Master’s in Marketing), she joined the SunExpress family in 2018. Over the past eight years, she has evolved into a Senior Cabin Crew member and a dedicated Aviation Security Instructor, proving that curiosity and hard work are the ultimate drivers of success.

Why did you decide to join the JetStream program?

"I have always been someone who seeks growth. I thrive when I step out of my comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and gain different perspectives. The JetStream program was the perfect platform for that."

How has your experience been so far?

"It has been a fantastic opportunity. Working with brilliant people from various departments has allowed me to understand the broader mechanics of our company and deepen my knowledge in ways I hadn't imagined."

What is your vision for the future?

"The program has significantly reinforced my passion for development. I am excited to take everything I’ve learned and apply it to new responsibilities, continuing to grow alongside SunExpress."
